Mr. Sayed Thaha Bafakyh is the Chairman of Thaha group of companies. He is hailing from a well reputed family in Quilandy viz, Bafakhy family. He is the son of Janab Abdul Kader Bafakhy who introduced “Hooka’ in India and an exporter of “Hooka” from the year 1946 onwards and grandson of Janab Abdul Rahiman Bafakhy who was a great gigantic personality in every field and popularly known as “Thangal”. Mr.Thaha is a dynamic and enthusiastic businessman managing the operation of the Infotech group in Quilandy . He is also the director of Indian Industrial & infotech Centre (P) Ltd. Singapore, i.e. an institution with the aim of providing Professional & Management Development Training He has been associated with education promotion in the field of information technology and communications for the past 15 years in a very successful manner.

He is the founder of Infotech group in Quilandy established in 1992 with two computers in a a 200 Sq. Feet area to provide computer education especially to the youth of suburban area This was indeed a bold and pioneering step, as the quality computer education was until then, confined to the cities alone. The growth of this centre was phenomenal. The object of the group is” to Impart education and training in computers, software development, deal in hardware and peripherals and other related subjects by running educational institutions and colleges” At present Infotech group have more than 50 computers in 9000 sq. Feet area and also running graduate colleges interrelated with a diploma in computer course along with a graduation

He is a MBA holder and Commerce graduate with computer education from Aptec Ltd . Right from his early days after education he laid foundation for Infotech group. His public relationship, management skill and ability have developed him to become a successful ambassador of the group. He is a guiding force in the group.
